Why is it so difficult to reach the expected BP target in real-life patients?
Chairs: Prof. Lee (South Korea), Prof. Narkiewicz (Poland)
Presenters: Prof. Narkiewicz (Poland), Prof. de Pinho (Portugal), Prof. Masi (Italy)

This symposium focused on how to address the poor levels
of BP control worldwide. Topics included identifying and
overcoming barriers to treatment intensification, and the
importance of initiating SPC, including triple combinations,
at an earlier stage of the disease to overcome physician
inertia, improve adherence, reduce the risk of cardiovascular
hospitalization, and lower healthcare costs globally.
